Raj Baba (The founder)
My name is Raj…I’m 35 years old. I am of Nigerian descent. I have a B.sc in Economics and an M.sc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I am a social entrepreneur who is deeply interested in launching start-ups and supporting budding entrepreneurs to do the same.
I relocated recently from the United Kingdom to Ghana cos i think there is a lot i can give to the country – Ghana, and the African continent as a whole. I have no sets of habit or ideals…I’m pretty much open and spontaneous. I enjoy all types of music, and I like to dance. I’m vegan…yet, I hold no judgment against anyone based on what they eat.
I have traveled extensively, lived in different places, experienced different cultures, so I would say my world view and horizon is quiet broad, and I have also ended up with a confused identity!
I am passionate about responsible tourism, green lifestyle, eco-friendly travel, wildlife exploration, environmental sustainability, development of local communities, preservation of this beautiful planet we live in, and also connecting with other kindred souls from different parts of the world.
I have over 10 years’ experience working as a volunteer tour guide. I am also a member of the International Tourism Association of professionals (ITAP). It would be a thing of joy for me to show you another side of Africa which you may not see in a long time. I also look forward to holding your hands, to sharing a warm hug or simply laughing away while enjoying each other’s presence.
Even though I am not so good at philosophy, I would say that a guiding principle which is at the core of all that I do is this: “a candle loses nothing by lighting other candles”.
